Lily Anderson, LCSW
Lily Anderson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who earned her Master of Social Work degree at Illinois State University. She is an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDR Approved Consultant, and more recently, an EMDR facilitator and faculty for Scaling Up EMDR. Lily taught as an Adjunct Professor at the School of Social Work at Illinois State University before expanding her work in EMDR consultation. Lily continues as a Guest Lecturer on EMDR Therapy at Illinois State University and provides psychoeducational EMDR videos for the general public and EMDR clinicians on her new YouTube channel, "EMDR with LILY."
Therapy
Lily worked as a therapist for foster care families at Children’s Home & Aid Society of Illinois and for teens suffering from substance abuse disorders at Chestnut Health Systems. Lily specializes in trauma and relational therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families in parent-child dynamics. Her other specialty areas include complex/developmental/attachment trauma therapy and helping those who suffer from mood and dissociative disorders.
Consultation and Instruction
With years of experience and training, we provide EMDRIA approved EMDR consultation and various instruction in EMDR and other best practices available through scientific research. These services are offered at the individual and group clinical levels, community outreach and academia, and on a national and global platform.
